Help, Best Way to Lose Weight
Ask a Question
Really find it hard to lose weight. I have medical problems which make it harder. Any tips and low cost ways please.
This is the eternal question and if we knew the answer we would all be slim. I lost about 20lbs when I gave up sugar. It really isn't hard as it does not involve rationing food. And walk more if you can.
Do more exercise. The main contributors is eat less, move more. Less calorie intake than output means losing weight.
This is exactly what I have done and have lost just over 2 stones.
It does take A LOT of willpower though. So I do understand why many people would find that way difficult. x
There seems to be different ways for everyone. It's all down to what is easiest for you in particular.
I have managed to lose just over two stones just by eating less and moving more, and with no supplements nor foods aimed specifically at weight loss. But I do understand that doing this is easier said than done for many people. But I suggest you try different ways until you find one that suits you. x
Losing weight successfully takes a lot of dedication and determination. There are no short cuts, and whilst doing it you can’t take a break from it. Just focus on why you’re doing it and the goal at hand. Never take your eye off the ball. And you don’t need to spend money doing it, as all exercises can be done in the home
As you may of seen from other posts im doing slimming world. My wife and i started last year when out daughter was a few months old. I lost over a stone but then in November my mother was taken ill and we quit. When we went back in January i was on a loss of 13lb, im now on 3stone 3lb. Hoping to get to 4 stone (my target) by our holidays in September. It is £5 a week to go to class but you can find out about the plan online. You could even buy a second hand book or wait until theres an offer on for free membership and go to class to get the book and never go again. Its really easy to follow
For me I always found that eating less and moving more worked. I would always cut out crisps and chocolate and have it as a treat once a week and it really made a difference. It is totally different for everyone though
