Help- Drying out a Water Logged Iphone!

Someone has christened my iphone with red wine anyways I can ensure it dries out good at fast before causing damage?? TIA 
I've heard don't turn it on and emerse it in rice overnight. I did it once on a very old phone and it worked I also put the tub on the radiator
joannecroston SarahHorsfield I tried the rice trick on a phones years ago didnt do much but I have buried this one is basmati and put it all over the radiator....fingers crossed
I've also heard a bag of rice but a for a few days, but that's based on a phone that's been completely immersed in water, I'm guessing it wasn't a huge amount of red wine so it shouldn't be too bad. Good luck and comeback and let us know if it worked!
unfortunately it was probably half the bottle and didnt realise for a few minutes that it had got my phone as I was dodging broken glass, will let you all know thank you 
Ive heard about the rice, and its really supposed to work as long as it isnt too damaged. Are you covered under insurance?
no sadly since not earning it got bumped for car insurance 
I will def live and learn im sending prays to the rice god that a miracle will occur
You can try getting it dried up but if the phone is fragile with water, then it's done for. Look on the bright side, you didn't lose it or had it stolen so no worries about losing vital info.
so true Rockman but meh it sucks I was only trying to help my drunk friend - still its just a phone not a limb
