Help needed... Buying Printer That Uses Cheaper Ink
Other
I’m looking to buy a new printer don’t want anything fancy as it’s just for home use but would like to buy one that uses cheaper ink cartridges. I have googled and looked on the internet. Does anyone have any recommendations please ?
I have an hp printer that doesn't cost a penny in ink if you only print 15 sheets per month. Obviously if you know you will use more there is a sliding scale and you can choose the monthly amount you wish to pay. I never print more than 4 sheets per week so it is perfect for me and I get sent an invoice every month totalling £0.00 and have never gone over, you pay if you do but not much.
They can see what ink you are using and send more before you run out.
nipperjwb you buy the printer (mine was from Amazon bought by my granddaughter), set it up and you will then receive an email explaining what to do. I cannot remember details as granddaughter did it for me. You have to give bank details so they can take the cost if you overprint or if you decide to go for a bigger print allowance. However, I have never been charged a single penny. You can change your allowance at any time of you need to print more.
