Help!! Can I save a Cake That's Too Moist Once It's out of the Oven?!
Ask a Question
Can any one help?! Yesterday I made a banana cake and took it out of the oven and decorated with icing. Covered in clingfilm once cooled then today the cake has oozed this sugary liquid around it. Cake tastes fine but is there any trick to salvage it?!
Not really, but suggest you don't wrap in cling film. Cake tin is far better or grease proof paper. If I under or over cook cakes ... latter in my case, I serve with custard and call it pudding!
I think that may have not helped! I think I was being lazy, as we have cake tins so I will try that next time thank you! Maybe this one is a custard job! Thank you for your help.
