Help - a Website is Banned on Latest Deals, Do I Need to Remove My Details?
Ask a Question
Q: I just tried to share a deal and it says you don’t accept that website. Is there a reason for this? Just wondering so I can remove my details from the website if there’s something wrong with it.
A:
There are many reasons why a website may be banned on Latest Deals. These include:
- The website does not meet our quality Guidelines
- The website was naughty and tried to self-promote
- The website has been reported as perhaps being a scam
- The website is a competitor to Latest Deals
- ... Other reasons
We are unable to answer why each website has been banned, although when you try to post a link a short explanation will be given.
If a website has been banned for being reported as being potentially a scam, a message will explain as such.
We are unable to confirm whether or not a website is potentially dodgy, so we take a precautionary step and ban them just in case.
Whether or not you want to try and request for your personal data to be deleted from that website is up to you. You will need to contact them directly (not us), and request for your personal data to be deleted.
