Hilarious Waste of Money

We have two rabbits and my husband is a bit of a soft touch and dotes on them (yes he originally didn't want to get them). On Monday he bought them some "chewsticks" which I looked at yesterday and saw they were wood!! He spent Β£2 on 4" sticks that we could have picked up walking the dogs!
I'm finding this hilarious because I'm the biggest money waster in this house.
Should I let him live this down or bring it up when necessary?
Oh no maybe just say to him that it was a slight waste of money but be warned men can get defensive or at least my husband does lol
Lol I agree with this, my partner is the same, he always winds me up or calls me silly if I have done something silly, but if itβs the other way round, jeez I darenβt call him silly!

I used to have a rabbit when younger and we used to buy wooden chewsticks for him. They are not the same as a normal stick that you would find walking the dogs. They are a certain shape to help the rabbit gnaw on them and are designed specifically for their teeth.
We used to give our rabbit digestive biscuits as a treat.
I have to admit it did take a day for me to twig - pardon the pun, and I found it hilarious so did he. I'm just biding my time for a frivolous buy and I can politely say "at least I didn't buy sticks"
AgnesFaludi it would cost more to cook them, they're a surprisingly cheap pet. I'd prefer the cuddles and kisses (yes they lick you) than re-enacting a scene from fatal attraction.
I buy wood sticks for my hamster they look exactly the same as a bit of sawed twig. I presumed they clean them or something so they were safe for them to have 
Some of the funniest things in life are those that happen accidentally, and just like your 'sticks', they are even funnier when brought up from time to time, pick your moments for maximum embarrassment. Those who laugh together stay together.
