Let's hope you make it to Mexico. I to would feel odd to go back to a place were they married.. Mexico looks lovely. Fingers cross for you jojo that you can do it. It would be a holiday of a life time for you and Daz.
Men, they can often be a little short of tact where emotional things are concerned with us ladies. I can remember years and years ago I had just found out that my then husband was having an affair and was intending to leave me and the children. Well to say I was upset was an understatement and we were meant to be going out with friends to quite a posh dinner/dance. With puffy face and red eyes I told him I did not feel like going and his reply? 'Oh that's just typical of you, hear a bit of bad news and spoil everyone else's evening!' I can laugh now but at the time.......................
Anyway my holiday of a lifetime was a Nile Cruise with various outings to places like The Valley of the Kings etc. It was a solo holiday after him above had left .
That sounds a lovely holiday. I would love to see the valley of the kings. Do you think you will ever go back. By the sound of your husband you are better of with out him. That took some thing to go on holiday on your own.
It was a holiday package for solo travellers and I met a great group of people in the same boat, literally. Doubt I will do it again as although I am not past it I do find air travel tedious and stressful and there is so much of our own beautiful country I want to see. Especially Wales and Scotland. I am going to spend next summer, I hope, jumping in the car with a small case and going where the road takes me. Starting October, going to Winchester for a history weekend and see the cathedral. I want to visit as many castles and cathedrals that I can before I croak it!
i probs bedivorced by then x im sick of him aving a gox hes fed up of me now hes told me today this illness is getting him down x so told him go x does he npt think im fed up of itx
You are very lucky to go Winchester for a history weekend. I would just love that. Here in Scotland we got some lovely castles.

Oh Jojo my heart go's out to you. Hope you and Daz make up. You will do. He is just a bit down after his old that's all.
hes been like this for couple of moth even before op x n im seriously fed up x i cant help beinh ill like he couldnt after meeting him getting cancerhow does he think i felt ... lots of people would of ealked away n left him x
Why don't you take some time out. That might help. He could go to his mum and for a few days. THEN after he could come back and things could be a lot better for you both. I do you two can work it out
Yes Nicola, I feel an affinity with Scotland and must do it soon while I still feel up to the drive. I would especially like to do an outlander tour.
Jo, really feel for you. I am ok on my own but I am relatively healthy for my age. It must be hard to contemplate a future alone when you are ill. Nicola is right, maybe some time apart would help and then a date night or two, a hobby you can share? Hard when you don't know a person but all good wishes for things to be better for you in every way.
You will love it hear in Scotland. You got loch Ness. There are loads of lovely castle and it's steeped in h history. You will love it. Will you be on your own.
I've had a lot of great vacays but of a lifetime? Can't say I have. When I'm in an isolated island, I guess you can call it then.
Island sounds a great get away. No people around. Yes you could call it a holiday of a life time. There not may island that don't have people.
nicolajaynehend I just love being in quiet, peaceful places where the most noise I'd hear from would be nature or animals at most. People can be really a handful to deal with, even family.
I'd honestly rather work with animals than humans and yeah, that'd include, you know what. I frankly don't mind the smell anymore (it's at least natural unlike tobacco or pollution). lol
Mine hasnβt happened yet, but is in March!! Going to Iceland to see the northern lights Xx
Hope you have a lovely time when it comes around. I live in the highlands Scotland and during the winter I get to see them most nights. They colours are lovely
blues, reds. And greens and they dance in the night sky.
nicolajaynehend thank you! Ahh how amazing so looking forward to seeing them for myself x
