Holidays Abroad This Year Should They Go Ahead ?
Ask a Question
Shouls holidays abroad go ahead this year or not ? WhT are your thoughts on this ?
Yes,definitely. Those who are scared can stay at home .Those who wants go and have rest, improve mental health, go to see relatives should be allowed to go.People need to be back to normal. For me it will not be a holidays, but to go to see my family and spend there 4-5 weeks. The time is one of the things what we can't get back, and we loose a year with this pandemic.
We'd love to go somewhere sunny this year, but think it's unlikely we will, due to all the likely restrictions and hassle of travelling this year, also wouldn't be to pleased if we had to wear masks on a beach somewhere, which may be possibility .
Its a nice aspiration , however (for those who have failed to notice ) the majority of European countries are now in a third wave . In fact all over the world most countries still have excessive rates .
Maybe Israel , Gibraltar, Malta , Cyprus , Dubai and Bahrain could be on the "Green List " this summer but I can't see many more joining them .
Even if allowed to "Amber " countries you will need 3 tests and a period of isolation on returning . So all in all don't get your hopes up .
It depends on the requirements needed to visit a country.
If they need have had 2 vaccines then we are way off getting everyone who wants one to that stage. and it will stop most in the country being able to go on holiday.
