Holy Grail Mac Products?
Ask a Question
Boots has just released Mac instore and online. What are your holy grail Mac makeup products?
Mac Fix+ is good, especially for spraying onto eyeshadow before you use it for the extra pop, but overall, I’d say Mac is a dying brand.. they can’t keep up with all the new products coming out, I think they are over priced for what you get and there are many cheaper alternatives
Im glad MAC have bought their products to boots as a students i get 10% off boots so can save some pennies
Hi chelseaturpin it is handy that you can use your student discount at Boots. I posted a deal that they have an offer for a free ruby woo worth £17.50 at Boots atm when you buy a mac product over £16
Dani1 ill deffo be having a look tomorrow for this is my local boots. Thanks for letting me know
Imnotcheap yes students usually get 10% off in a lot of places sometimes 20% off
Getsome I personally think with a lot of brands you pay for the brand name and sometimes not the actual product if that makes any sense. I find a lot of the cheaper brands are just as good if not better than expensive brands most of the time.
I know what you mean, i dont wear make up but my wife loves the stuff and has never been interested in MAC as she thinks its overpriced compared to whats on the market
Getsome I’m very lucky to work in a Boots store so I get discount which makes it more reasonably priced!
morvenjamieson Nice one, hopefully the 30-40% discount makes its reasonably priced
morvenjamieson Thats cause they are overpriced and you need the discount to make it worth while
I like there glitter eyeshadow but I recently bought a couple from superdrug brand B. & honestly they are a good alternative & were only a pound or so each. Agree with MAC being overly priced. Tbh, I cant understand why anyone will pay high end prices for make up these days when there's so many decent & cheaper drug store alternatives now.
I have never bought a MAC item! I always thought they were very expensive. I don't wear make up, only for special occasions, so I tend to just buy the items that I like and know work for me and aren't too expensive.
