Depends on what youre using it for ie if its something your doing day in day out maybe a batter quality one, but just for one off things now and then it seems about the right price

I have three for different jobs and the cheapest is as good as the most expensive. The most expensive is cordless so can be used for jobs that are further away from a power source. At one time they were definitely more expensive but they have become so popular that £4 is the norm.

My daughter got one for about that price

I bought one years ago and paid just short of £6 so I would say thats a good deal

I bought my hot glue gun brand new on ebay a couple of years ago. It was £6 and came with 50 strips of glue. It still works well
