How Can I Make My House Smell Nice!?

The smell of wet dogs is one of the worse smells and to be honest I don't know of any ways to eliminate it but I would try pouring some bicarbonate of soda around the house and leave it a while before vacuuming as apparently it's good for neutralising some smells, another wee trick to try is soaking a bit of cotton wool with essential oils or other fragrances like perfume or after shave and put it on the radiator, when you put he heating on it'll send a nice smell around the house.

I also put dryer sheets inside pillows, cushions and even under my sofa. Lemon cut up and mixed with Bicarbonate soda and sat in a bowl absorbs odours too.

I wash my dog beds weekly and in between washing them I use a dog deodoriser spray on the dog beds, I also have plug in air fresheners around the house too

It is funny that we never get use to some smell, I used essential oils in my house in places he could not reach.

Boil orange and cinammon sticks.

I use Yankee Candle Plugin’s Black Cherry, The Maker’s of Reborn Dolls to get that Newborn Baby Smell use Wonder Wafers Baby Powder I wonder if putting some inside the actual Dog Bed Cushions might help,

I can recommend The Rug Doctor Urine Eliminator – 500ml for around £5. It is really effective on toddler accidents and 'wet dog' smells.

When we had our dog we used to regularly Vax the carpets and wash her bedding. I also used shake and vac. Unfortunately when you have dogs you are never going to get rid of their smell completely.

Get rid of the dog, job done. No more dog smell.

thanks guys yes i think its ust a case of do my best but accept that having a dog, no matter how much you try there will always be that odour to some degree!
