What do you think of this?

Well I certainly have no intention of throwing away my cleaning products over 3 months old especially as I haven’t noticed their lack of power. It’s most probably suggested by the manufacturer for us to buy more!

Exactly what I thought, it just gives them an excuse to use when it doesn't do what it says on the label! 🐞

I have some fly/wasp killer which has an expiry date of sometime in 2014. It's a little slower at working but still works perfectly fine.

RegularComper90 It made me wonder whether it has lost the sting in it's tail? Providing the wasps & flies don't like it it must be ok! 🐞

I LOVE my son...but his o.c.d. drives me bonkers...being totally honest..I could not believe that furniture polish could go out of date until he showed me .... well unless it ain't doing the job it says its gonna do...I'm keeping them as well....I just won't eat them lol.

I'm the same, so long as the product does what it says then why worry. It would be such an expense to keep replacing these things all the time. 🐞

I knew about all of these, but I do not replace my underwear, bras or slippers every 6 months to a year! No one does! Plus who can afford to!

tumblespots the last time I bought new underwear and bras was during pregnancy and just after my son was born. Plus if they are trying g to encourage us to be sustainable then changing these each year isn't good for the environment.

Sounds like the sort of thing I do - buy another if it is a good product. I do regularly clean my hairbrush though - de-hairing it and scrubbing it with a nail brush - although that would be difficult to do if you have larger bristles on the brush. 🐞

In a time when we are all encouraged to save the planet, cut down on buying, recycling etc I find this horrendous and as many have said it is purely a marketing ploy. My hairbrushes are not thrown away until they start going bald but are regularly disinfected. Who cares if there is a small hole in my knickers as long as they are clean....I am the only one who sees it! My slippers go in the washing machine with bath mats etc and cleaning products last forever as I am a singleton and don't have as much cleaning to do as a family. As long as something is doing the job it is meant to do and is not a health hazard I will continue to use!
