Sorry about that, I thought it was a genuine glitch, glad you got your money back though 😊

They cancelled my order and said they're processing a refund, but not actually received the refund yet! Hopefully it comes.

Maybe if that one person hadn't contacted the site about the glitch, we might be getting new phones instead of a refund!

Who contacted the site? I didn't get an email saying they wouldn't be honouring it just an email to say they were refunding my money

CarolPhillips a new user (joined on the day of the deal being posted) called BabriRanjbar and stuff he contacted them and they told him it was a mistake, that it was actually a contract we were buying. The thread/deal has been deleted for some reason though so can't show you the posts.

Hey guys - always sad if a glitch isn't honoured!

I just wanted to clarify why a post may be removed from the site in this instance - if we get reports that something might not be legit or a scam and we're at all suspicious our first port of call is to remove the post from the site to prevent it impacting anyone else.

I don't personally know about this instance - it sounds as if it may have been a price mistake that is now being refunded?

In the future I'll see if we can tweak things so that perhaps a post can be "disabled" (e.g. the get deal button doesn't work) and a warning added if we're suspicious. That way everyone can still comment on it, get feedback/help or ask questions. Feedback on that idea or any other alternative approaches is very welcome 🙂

To be fair, they really don't have to honor glitch prices. Most people who jump into glitch prices tend to be newcomers than usual customers so it doesn't affect them either way.

Usual customers stick around but glitch customers don't.

That was my deal, I genuinely thought I'd found a glitch, it was something like £40 for a smartphone, and the post was let through so just assumed all was good.

Apologies to everyone and hopefully you all get your refunds 😔

In my opinion it is a dodgy website since the offer is still online and they have more suspicious offers. Definitely not a glitch.

My refund has come through now (@AgentOfDeals, FYI) so I guess they're not after money, and they have decent reviews online, but I guess those could be fake.

But yes, they have some interestingly priced items, it's weird.

If it is a dodgy website, I guess they want details rather than money?

Or they're just doing a really bad job of running the site!

MeestairChrees If this were really a glitch, the first thing they would have done would have been to correct the price or take the offer off the website, but it's still there, many other people are buying it.

Then you take a look at the store and find a new iPad for £ 30 hahaha I can't say what it is but they are trying something.
