Does your partner buy you feminine hygiene products??.. Mine does And he often facetimes me from the shop about food etc... quite often they dont have what I want/need... so far nothing like this happened... some people just need to get a grip...
Yep - but I make darn sure I send him a picture on WhatsApp before he goes out so he gets the right ones
jennywilks what would we do without smartphones and cameras ...me too. And occasionally he still forgets something even with a picture
Bloke needs to grow a pair in my opinion. I would have given the horrible cow a right mouthful.
My partner doesn't buy me any feminine hygiene products because I don't really need them, but I've never had a problem buying them for her
TheChimp to be fair that would of made me upset too.. its hardly a compliment to be accused being pervert... and clearly horrible cow was confrontational type...I'm sure she buys you something else rather than feminine hygiene products instead
My ex used to buy them occasionally back in the 70s when it was more or less taboo for a man to do so! Not that I ever asked him unless desperate but he had no problem with it, even asking pharmacist for period pain tablets.
But, as I have mentioned on here before, he was very much a Bear Grylls/Ant Middleton type of guy and I never remember anything ever phasing him.
TheChimp yep along with loads of other things like pushing a pram, changing nappies, cooking dinner, which you do regularly, and housework in general.
However, I don't like the modern trend of making male/female exactly the same, like a bunch of sexless robots.....we are equal but different, end of.
Lynibis wow I can imagine... to be fair when I was teenager myself I felt embarrassed buying some... like everyone knew that I started my periods..
I'm the one that does the shopping, but occasionally my husband has bought them if he has been in the shops and I've needed them. He has never been embarrassed by it, his mum used to send him to buy hers when he was a teenager if she needed to. My dad used to buy them for my mum of needed. I really don't see the issue.
MrsCraig wow as a teenager..? They usually even more self conscious. But that's great. I suppose some men feel its beneath them to do so...
BlueOrchid my husband has never bothered about it. If it is something I need then he is happy to buy it.
My fella never bought mine. We usually do the shopping together but he wouldn't get them neither would my dad he would send me to buy them for my mum
Imnotcheap my fiance has no problem with it... its just something I need... he buys me some femfresh too he was doing most shopping anyway during all this pandemic
That woman should be made to apologise to the man and store manager for inappropriate behaviour. She’s obviously got a screw loose.
Honestly if it’s needed then buy it!
I could maybe understand a teenage boy being embarrassed but a grown man .. just get on with it
I do feel sorry for this man. I would have been mortified in this situation. However possibly the most embarrassing part of the whole thing is where he refers to himself as 'A grown ass man'
If the story's true I think that woman is a few sandwiches short of a picnic. My fella buys mine occasionally if I'm caught short, hes not phased at all. If he was I'd just tell him to get over himself.
They should have let her call the police and when they turned up got the stupid Karen done for wasting police time and banned from the shop and if a chain then a nationwide ban. I buy the products for my wife all time and couldnt give a **** whose bothered.
