Im Having Point Removed Left Right and Center This Morning
Ask a Question
Tom or mentor...
I'm having points deducted left right and center this morning for codes I posted days ago and I was definately the first to post them as I checked at the time of posting !!
Can you please look into this. I’m sure I lost a lot of points when the bug hit the system last time as well but can’t be 100% sure. This time I know I’m right.
Thanks
Just checked through yesterday’s points and I had 2 lots of points wrongly deducted then for voucher codes as well !!! Dont think I’ll bother posting anymore until this is sorted out. I haven’t check back any further than yesterday but I suspect there’s more.
Morning nipperjwb
I've just checked and it looks like your posts were correctly removed in this instance:
- Your Feel Unique £25 for £125 spend was shared slightly before yours here: https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/vouchers/25-offorders-125-feelunique
- Similarly, the £15 off £75 spend was shared here: https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/vouchers/15-offorders-75-feelunique
- And your £10 off £60 spend was shared here: https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/vouchers/10-offorders-60-feelunique
Looking at the times the posts were shared, Jacko87 was a bit quicker off the mark sharing them in the early hours of the morning before you shared yours later on in the day.
The blip we experienced with the points should now all be resolved and points restored but do drop me a message via the contact form if you think otherwise and I'm happy to investigate
nipperjwb Hey unfortunately the system doesn't always automatically detect a duplicate at the time of posting. It does its best to guess but it has its limits and sometimes won't alert you.
In these cases we rely on reports from people and then review the posts by (human) hand. We keep a time stamp of when all the posts are shared and so can say with certainty in this situation that the vouchers were unfortunately shared on LD already.
We're always working to try and improve the automatic detection to save the annoyance of a post being removed as a duplicate after it's shared - I've fallen foul to it myself and know how frustrating it can be.
