Inbetweeners Actors
Ask a Question
I absolutely love the Inbetweeners and it’s great to see them act in different programmes. I have seen ‘Jay’ in Zapped, Simon and Jay in White Gold, Will in Friday Night Dinner and Neil in Kate and Koji. All have done well, even the actress have gone on to do some great stuff. It’s great to see they were not typed cast and continued to get work. Have you got a favourite actor from Inbetweeners and what other stuff have you enjoyed seeing them in?
I totally loved Jay in the Only fools and horses prequel .I did as well love Neil in Kate and Oji and I aint really watched anything with Will and simon in .I utterly found the 1st film hilarious but seriously didn't think the 2nd 1 was any good .
I preferred the first film as well. And I did see Jay in OFAH. You should enjoy White Gold, try finding it, it’s very funny.
stuartsmith544 I agree the first inbetweeners film was excellent, the second not so much!
I actually like all of the cast of inbetweeners and find it hard to imagine other actors playing the parts, I think Will is great in Friday Night Dinner, again I couldn't imagine a different cast in that either.
eyeballkerry I really like Plebs, I still find myself watching a load of repeats, I love the reggae music too, that works really well for me.
Not sure if you’ve seen “keeping rosy”
I really enjoyed that and there was the Lanky fella in that ? Neil? Anyway. I like to give actors a chance and I think the storyline can make shift on the difference to it... so as much I recognised him, could give his character credit ifyswim?
I liked Blake Harrison in a film called Keeping Rosy, which also stars Maxine Peake. This film fell a bit under the radar, so isn't that well known, but I thought it was well made.
eyeballkerry if you have Amazon Prime Video it's currently available on there for free. It was shown on the BBC in December 2020 (but, it's no longer available on iPlayer). It's also available on YouTube, but probably shouldn't be there, so it could be taken down at any time.
ACR I used to have Amazon Prime but I was not too impressed with the contents. I do have Netflix which I enjoy.
