All Inclusive vs Half Board on Holiday?
Ask a Question
when you go on holiday, if you were at a hotel where the choice was all inclusive vs half board, what would you usually go for and why? Do hotels ever Do all inclusive prices differently with and without alcohol or is it presumed adults will drink and therefore includes alcohol?
thanks.
All inclusive is good but I think you tend to overindulge in both the food and drink, I certainly do, but it's great you don't have to worry about any additional costs for the food and drink.
I would go for self catering or bed and breakfast (if it's included). I would much rather go out and eat at the local restaurants and eat local food than have the rubbish food provided by a hotel buffet.
I do the same. I wouldn't want to eat all meals at the hotel. Breakfast OK but not lunch and dinner
I always go for all inclusive as its easier for the kids, and there is no worry of running out of money and being left with nothing to eat or drink. Although the hotel im going to this year charges extra for cocktails and other certain drinks.
We go all inclusive purely for the drinks. The first year we went only breakfast was included and we spent and absolute fortune on drinks (water and pop) by the pool as it was so hot. The money we save paying a bit extra for all inclusive just for the drinks makes it worthwhile. We dont even drink alcohol
