I have had an advert in gumtree for 2 years trying to sell my gym equipment to no avail but have had over 40 emails now asking to buy it.
Also been selling Thai Chilli seeds from my greenhouse plants and only sold 2 packs in 3 years but yesterday and today i have had over 14 orders?
What is going on?
Have you noticed increased demand for your items on Gumtree. Preloved, Ebay or Amazon?
Are Thai chillis a cure for Coronavirus or am i missing something?
I can dig the gym equipment with all the gyms now shut but Seeds?
Is the world truly going mad?
Can understand the gym stuff, price has shot up, my partner who is a body builder was running round like a headless chicken at weekend trying to buy some weights as a reasonable price so he could at least do something at home. Thai Chilli seeds are they looking for - Chia seeds? These are tiny black seeds from the plant Salvia hispanica, and were an important food for the Aztecs and Mayans who prized them for their ability to provide sustainable energy.
Yeah I understand your partner too well lol I was a bodybuilder too for 20 years he must be going stir crazy its the lack of the adrenalin rush and the seratonin etc to the brain it is like being a drug addict that is why they call it Adrenalin junkie so go easy on him, if you nag him it will only make it worse! and if he is taking Anabol etc which i hope not the levels of violence and aggression get pretty heavy when they are without it!
Sadly most younger folks seem to think they need it these days the number taking it in my posh local gym was quite shocking!

garygemmell We've only been together 5 years - as he says good things come to them that wait. He'll be ok after weekend heavy weights arriving Friday 
garygemmell Should I try and sell my indoors bike or isn't that the type of gym equipment that sells? I don't use it and have meant to stick it on gumtree for a while
Sell it i have now had over 50 phone calls and 100 emails about the gym equipment its crazy!
Was selling it for £49 but upped it to £89 am I bad?
But then had an offer today for £200 but its going to a nice lady for £79.99 i took a penny off!
I totally get the seeds. People sticking to their garden and making it productive

This is crazy dont they realise it will take 5 months for the seeds to germinate and produce fruit?
Yeah but why Thai chillis why not chives, lettuce, carrots stuff that will grow quickly and produce a lot of growth?
Lol I think the world was already mad - it was just slow at showing the symptoms Perhaps the chillis are being bought to be made for self defence purposes, before the violence starts? And gym equipment is obviously for those to get fitter and stronger to survive the apocalypse 
Its only 10 seeds per pack although i am putting 30 seeds in but Amazon wont let you change the blurb so some folks are going to get a wee surprise - its nice to be nice and get more than you bargained for dontya think!
I think you will need more than 30 seeds to make some defence powder but i do have the anarchists cookbook so if you want to know how to make some defensive spray, tazer+++ out of household chemicals then just call me the A-team (although i surmise a few of the auld grannies on here already have an alternative for the A prefix haha)!
garygemmell of course, people always want more than what they pay for 
I remember working with an ex copper who used to tell me about suspects who would either get sprayed or tasered but were completely immune to it...I guess sometimes it takes longer for things to register
hspexy Yeah drugs probably especially angeldust (pcp) it gives you the strength of ten men and you feel nothing even if someone stabs you or shoots you it was infamous in America in the 80's.
Now its all that horrendous artificial cannabis malarky and stuff like krokodil and schmerche made from rat poison and household chemicals pretty horrendous but popular in Russia and South Africa!
garygemmell lol ah don’t get me started on the man made stuff! always surprised by what people pay for things these days, but I guess for some folk money doesnt mean very much for them. I suppose in all honesty money is worthless - by the end of all this fiasco, we will all be dealing with digital money and all our bank notes and coins would be worthless
hspexy I shouldnt mention this but my best pal Dave is a cannabis smoker and he sells to all the celebs in Glasgow you wouldnt believe me the nicey nicey ones you see on breakfast tv buying skunk from him they are all at it from the guys who did the Vidz tv show Nige and Stef we went up to their bohemian flat in the west end for a toking evening and even a very famous film star who lives in the ever so posh area of Hyndland mentioning no names - he also works in extra work for the movies and has met guys like Charles Dance, John Hurt and many more for a puff or two lol!
His favourite was Rachel Weisz and no she did not partake of the "erb" but he says she was one of the few who actually came and shook hands with all the extras (small people) and was not up her own hosepipe - so there you go dont say i dont provide you with some celeb entertainment i have so many stories and all true but then i have never had a job for more than 3 years i think was the longest and have travelled a lot so the more you do the more stories you have to tell!
I am thankfully drug, alcohol and cig free these days - my lungs now feel clean but i have admiteddly tried almost every drug under the sun in my early rave and ibiza years so i can speak from experience and not out of my bum - never tried the brown though never would too scary!
