It's a Deal, but Not for the Deal Page £1 house!

I guess this would be a great lockdown project if you could travel freely and had a Wickes nearby!
Lol, I couldn't find a Euro key on my keyboard, probably because it's an American kindle fire, so I settled for a good old British pound sterling
Lynibis Even on normal keyboards the EURO sign (€) isn't too easy to type, anyone who has an ALT GR key (usually to the right of space bar) can hold it down while hitting the 4 key.
Those without an ALT GR key need to hold down CTRL & ALT keys while hitting the 4 key.
That might help some others who have found the € elusive.
davidstockport thanks David, your help is always appreciated. I read through your Alexa post and picked up many good hints. Yesterday I created 3 playlists lol!
Lynibis Almost every day I find something new to do with Alexa (oops that sounds a little risque), it's worth knowing you can pair (using bluetooth) Alexa with your mobile phone to listen to any music on your phone, if you can't find your phone to do that, if you've set it up, Alexa will ring it for you. I'd be lost without her now.
If the basic shell was good it would still be a bargain, IF you wanted to live there and IF you were willing to do the work.
I remember watching a TV programme about £1 houses in Liverpool. They were given 12 months to renovate otherwise the houses were taken off them!

I love home improvement programmes so it was interesting to see what people could do on a budget. Although the area was not the best
I have always thought it isn't the houses that make bad areas but the people (usually a minority) who live in them.
That's what I was alluding to lots of anti social behaviour, people getting harassed in the streets, bricks through windows etc@davidstockport
