Today is Shrove Tuesday.
Will you be having pancakes?
What do you have on them? It's just simple lemon and sugar for me, but MrsChimp quite likes a bit of maple syrup.
I tend to have a couple with Lemon & Sugar and a couple with Maple Syrup.
I used to hate pancake day because as a commis chef I had to knock out hundreds of them, now I get somebody else to do it.
TheChimp I flew up to Canada from New York for a day trip in 2019 - I was amazed how cheap it was there, we are talking like a 20th of the price it is here.
Of course there was still the 100ml liquids limit on planes then, so I had to leave it sitting on the shelf.
kirstenvieitez I think bag scanning technologies mean some airports now let you take more than 100ml of liquids in your carry on baggage.
Sugar and Banana 
Peanut butter and sliced banana myself.
Kids like lemon and sugar, jam, chocolate spread basically anything they can put on it!!!
I also like the lemon and sugar when Iโm out having a pancake. But if i make my own then when they are hot put your favourite butter/spread on and then a sprinkling of sugar on top of the warm butter/spread.
White sugar and bottled lemon juice although orange juice is also quite nice too
I was listening to the radio earlier and someone said that they had marmite and banana with their pancakes

Herbs and honey
Chunks of smashed Crunchie bars, mixed with a sprinkle of salt, honey and a pinch of rosemary. T This herb & honey pancake is the perfect blend of sweet and savoury. The salt offsets the chocolate and honeycomb while rosemary delicately flavours the honey drizzle.
My other half likes Golden Syrup , which I like too, but I also like Chocolate Syrup that you put on ice cream or Honey
Just be careful when disposing of any left over batter

Just sugar free vanilla Syrup for me. The others with have Maple syrup / icing sugar.
I can't be doing with anything with artificial sweeteners in it. I'd rather have no pancakes tbh.
Lemon and sugar, simple and traditional but delicious. I'm not going to enjoy tidying the kitchen up after the kids though.
I love a bit of chocolate and banana with raspberry jam and cream on top, that's why I am so fat!!
On pancake tues it has to be traditional lemon and sugar though any other time itโs got to be with bacon and maple syrup lol. Just have to be awkward rofl
If I'm having regular pancakes it's lemon and sugar. American pancakes it's blueberry and lemon

I had 3 at work and just had another 3 
1 with lemon juice and sugar , 1 with Nutella and banana, 1 with squirty cream and strawberrys 2 with maple syrup ,1 with chocolate spread and cream please don't judge me iam giving up sweets,biscuits, cakes tomorrow for lent 
I love pancakes I have strawberries, blueberries and raspberries with honey on top
I got reminded at work and had to pop to the supermarket on the way home, tried Morrisons and Aldi and neither had any berries left ( Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries) or pancakes or mix so I bought plain flour to make the them.
I opted for Banana and Nutella but would have ideally likes Berry's and honey.
My local sainsburys had a big sale of pancake pans ,mixtures etc.The pancake mixtures were 15p and the pans ยฃ1.50.I also like my pancakes with sugar and golden syrup
I made savoury ones in the spirit of fighting waste and saving a bit of money
with leftover cooked chicken, a few mushrooms that had seen better days and a piece of cheese which had become too hard to eat (grated). The kids were happy and I had dinner sorted!
i missed pancake day would you believe!! my husband isnt a pancake fan but i might have to make some tomorrow as a sunday treat for myself lol
