Ask a Question
Do you just celebrate on Christmas Day or do you celebrate on Christmas eve and Boxing Day as well. I’m out family Christmas Eve and Boxing Day we also have a full day festivities and traditions
Yes, we tend to spread it out over a few days.
We have Christmas Day just us family, then Boxing Day extended family come around and we do it all again.
Yes we start celebrate over a few days. We usually have a xmas party on xmas eve eve and have a visit off santa who gives the kids a selection box and we have some buffet food. Chrsitmas eve we visit family and then have new pjs and xmas eve boxes, watch a xmas film etc, xmas day we have our presents, then go to my parents for presents, dinner, games etc, then in the evening we get my MIL and she comes up to us for presents, games etc. Boxing day we go back to my parents for more fun and games. Its quite a busy xmas actaully
It sounds very much like my Christmas we celebrate the whole 3 days as well. Lots of family to see and games to play
Ours is over a few day too, Christmas eve we visit my partners grandparents in the morn in the afternoon we go to our close friend house for a few drinks, in the evening we all get new pjs have a small buffet & enjoy some drinks & a movie. Christmas day we do presents in morn, dinner in afternoon. Evening spent playing games & a few more drinks. Boxing day we go to my partners mums for more dinner & drinks. Il need around a week after to recover.
This also sounds like my Christmas we spend the whole 3 days celebrating. With family and playing lots of games
It‘s generally a time of year where we celebrate all month long, right into the new year. Usually parties and get togethers are spread out throughout the month, some for birthdays as well as Xmas celebrations
On Christmas eve we have a fairly normal day, then since we have kids in the house we have a bit of a buffet in the evening. It's a very special day that the girls especially prepare for, with bath bombs and face masks, all those pampering shenanigans. Then they go to bed in brand new Pj's, leaving us older ones and our parents to clean everything up, although we don't mind. On Christmas day we celebrate, of course, and on boxing day we have left overs and use the gifts we got the day before. Boxing day is very chilled out.
Just Christmas Day.. I’ve worked in retail for the past 6 years so I’ve always had to work Christmas eve and usually Boxing Day too. This year is no different! I would love to celebrate longer but too many people want to shop on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day so they wont ever stop us for having to work them
