Just for Fun - Songs with Towns or Cities in Their Titles.
Other
There must be thousands. The towns or cities can be in any country.
I'll start the ball rolling with:
A FOGGY DAY IN LONDON TOWN Performed by numerous singers.
Thanks GSM... it is one I wasn't familiar with, it is a bit obscure: only just over 223 million views on YouTube.
GSM It is very popular - I couldn't have named it though although I realise I've heard it before. I was being a little facetious with my use of the word "obscure" any song with over 23 million views on YouTube can't be obscure. (I'm stuck in the past musically)
Sunshine On Leith by The Proclaimers
Belfast Child by Simple Minds
London Calling by The Clash
chelseaturpin Could have also gone for Guns of Brixton or White Man In Hammersmith Palais.

New York, New York - Gene Kelly, Jules Munshin, Frank Sinatra
gerrykelly25 - I got Gene Kelly in it again
You only get half a point as I mentioned the song this morning, but itβs always good to see Gene tumblespots!
gerrykelly25 Oh no! I wonder why not??
How about another New York song
New York New York (so good they named it twice) - Gerard Kenny
gerrykelly25 I assumed the "New York, New York" you mentioned was the one that started "Start Spreading The News" This "New York, New York" is a different song so tumblespots gets the half point back
Strangely enough I was thinking of doing a "Just For Fun" asking for different songs with the exact same title,
Just to add to the confusion yet another "New York, New York (so good they named it twice)" has been added above by Tumblespots.
Africa - Toto ( Happens to be a fav song of my sons)

Long Haired Lover from Liverpool by Jimmy Osmond

Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd - one of my favourites! Canβt believe I didnβt think of it sooner!
gerrykelly25 It might be you didn't think of it earlier because in that song Alabama isn't a town or city (it's a state) Don't worry though you're not the first to get towns and cities mixed up with states, regions and even countries. But as said in title it's "Just for Fun" and there is actually a town in New York State called "Alabama".
This song "BURY me not on the lone prairie" has nothing to do with the Gtr. Manchester town of BURY (renowned for its black puddings) but... why not!
Need to get my thinking cap back on. Only these two so far!
