Is It Just Me or Are There More and More out of Stock Items ?

As some of you know, I have been helping my son furnish his rented flat, when we have been looking online for furniture, more and more items are out of stock and even those in stock have a long lead in times.
Sofa 11 weeks
Bedside tables 6 weeks for the ones he likes
What's the longest you have had to wait for something to be delivered
When we moved into our house we waited a week for our sofa, fridge, cooker, washing machine and dishwasher to be delivered. We had to order a new cooker recently and think we waited 3 weeks for it to be delivered. I remember when I moved into my first flat, I went into the shops with my parents and some things were delivered the next day. 11 weeks for a sofa seems a very long time.
beccatavender 6 years ago I ordered from SCS and got told a couple of months (again as it had to be made) came within 3 and thankfully I received the keys to the property just before that.
Where I work (technically in furnishing) we do have a few out of stock ranges (it happens especially if they are on sale) but replacement stock is taking a bit longer (all from overseas) lots of things are impacting it which are way out of our control.
beccatavender and wait until it’s due delivery they make some excuse saying there been a delay mine was due first week December and it arrived end of January three years ago. It’s was cushions on floor for Xmas.

About 9 months....now there's none in stock, and my wife says the factory is closed.
I had bleach on my subscribe and save last year and they were never in stock for 6 months !!!! Even when the local shop did 
Now that we are outside the EU it makes a lot more sense for products that come from Asia to use docks in the UK maybe this will cause some upset to supply but most of the issues are caused by the pandemic.
