Kratu at Crufts

In the News

from last year:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6805673/Kratu-Romanian-rescue-dog-unlikely-star-Crufts-tearing-agility-course.html

this year:

https://metro.co.uk/2020/03/08/kratu-rescue-dog-terrible-agility-back-crufts-2020-time-running-off-pole-2-12366706/

so usually Crufts celebrates the best in show...and Kratu doesn’t disappoint in giving the audience a performance to remember!

his happy face was enough to brighten up my day!

have you ever been to Crufts? I haven’t, and I doubt I would ever go as I don’t quite agree with how the dogs are bred, but I do love dogs

poor dog, although I'm sure he had a lot of fun doing exactly what he wanted - the crowd seemed to have liked it

not been to crufts myself, nor am I likely to

I have been to the national pet shows, and they’re always lovely to attend, as you really get to cuddle all the lovely dogs and sone cats. I’m sure you can’t do that at Crufts

hspexy Yeah we had a Crufts family dog winner - Zowie Tzarina Of Bronyaur was her name lol

Yeah I know ridiculous eh we bought her from a family that said they could not cope with her and then found out why!

Samoyed Husky - evil she was she nearly took my nose off on many occasions, one of the only dogs I was never able to fully train!

Mind you my Collie The Duke actually did bite the end of my nose off after i tried to lift him - turns out he had stomach cancer poor old chap had to forgive his lashing out!

Ever had an injection in yer hooter - bloomin agony it was and then the end of my nose sewed back on now that was a bit painful on a local anaesthetic - told you i was Dis-Gaz-Ter!

garygemmell lol omg the stories you have to share 😂 It’s funny how we would probably forgive an animal for anything, even if it means getting a massive needle stuck into the hooter 😜

hspexy Yeah my dad used to say i was inoculated with a gramophone needle!

But yeah all the stories are real - you couldnt really make them up as most are disasters and who wants to boast about being a complete disaster - they used to call me the JONAH when i worked for a local college in the IT dept.I could tell you some hair raising stories about that location and the things that went on believe me! My name is notorious there as i found when i went back to do a Cisco course all the technicians had all heard my name because of what happened that fateful day!

I think that is why women find me so interesting or should that be "strange" "weird" "nuts" hehe (not in a boastful way - i have been told this by a few girlfriends) because i can keep them talking and laughing all night long and the stories are true but fascinating on how one person could have so many calamities in life but then i have never been one for the one job for a lifetime and white picket fence i have had over 100+ jobs in my life most of them in IT and electronics and been all over the world so experience does give you some crazy stories to tell!

garygemmell indeed! Makes a change for someone who works in the IT department- most of the ones I deal with are half asleep...I’m sure they’ve got dreams to share 😜 I usually get the ones who tell me just to switch my computer off and on again to sort out whatever IT issue I have...perhaps explains their whole ethos in life 😂

hspexy Haha very true most IT people are a bit "strange" but i like weird and odd strange call it what you will its the boring ordinary ones you have to watch out for - Dennis Nillson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Dennis Raider, Bundy all so called normal folks.

My next door neighbour asked one of the neighbours i dont get on with who i was when he first moved in - he said they told him that me and the girlfriend were a bit "weird" so he said he knew i was going to be a decent neighbour lol

Apparently a couple of the old fogies around here think my girlfriend is weird because she dyed her hair pink - old fogies eh lol quite a few on here too auld grannies - Current story with the Goth on Corrie kinda illustrates the thing quite well - now she is interesting - bats n' tings luvvin it!

garygemmell lol there’s nothing wrong with strange. I prefer people with character, those who have opinions and willing to be open and honest, living their lives by being true to themselves. All the IT folk I’ve dealt with are usually on the boring side, not likely to say how they feel - drives me mad, as they just have to spit it out! Not into the stiff upper lip mentality

hspexy Not ALL I was in IT haha

I was a Security and Networking expert mainly Cisco which is what the internet is built on - worked for British Police and MOD etc so yeah IT man through and through but now I am an adventurer and seeker of thrills and new experiences since i retired at 40.

A lot of the IT people I worked with were madder than I am - i could tell you some stories that would change your opinion on the mild mannered IT geek, some of them are truly wild - never judge a deal by its likes lol!

An old school friend of mine is a dog groomer and she not only went, she took part and had one of her dogs in the show. I don't know if it won anything. I don't think so. She only took part in it once.

I guess it wasn’t a great experience if they only did it the once. I have heard the people can be quite competitive and pompous, which I imagine is true as it’s their livelihood and not just for fun. I’d only go there for fun 😊
