The More Laidback Lockdown in Sweden

In the News

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-52076293

I don’t have any friends who currently live in Sweden, but I do know the Swedish people who I’ve worked with in the past are very laid back (including the time one introduced fika to us in the office and made it a daily afternoon occurrence), and so they don’t seem to be shutting everything down like we have

Time will tell if their approach works

Let's hope it doesn't come back to bite them on the backside.

It will be interesting to see how their cases and deaths compare to countries with lockdowns and curfews.

Yes they should be more responsible,if not for them, but for the rest of the world!

Time will tell whether there method works or not, but it seems dubious. I am concerned about the effects our lock down will have on the economy, businesses and jobs as well as for how the NHS is ever going to catch up with all those missed appointments and operations that have been placed on hold .

Yes, a lot is going on and we definitely do not have an endless supply of funds to cover it all

They certainly look like they are enjoying themselves, enjoying the outdoors, unlike the rest of the world! Fingers crossed that it works
