Ask a Question

Hello!

So I'm a student, and I've always been a bit wary to spend money since I've always wanted to get my money's worth and spend as little as possible, which is why I'm in this group and glued to the latest deals website!

However, I have a dilemma! A bit of a long one at that, apologies - I'm new to online shopping!

- I really want some gymwear, which is decent quality and flattering, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on it (take into consideration that a lot of money means more as a student on part time work!). Any recommendations on places to go? Any good deals you've spotted on latest deals that I may have missed?

- Also, I would love to have a smart watch, which a stopwatch/timer/heart rate/steps, but also with the function to respond to text messages, if possible? Any ideas for not spending a huge amount but still getting these features?

- Ordered some cheap wireless earphones from eBay, but one earphone doesn't work despite using it once - any recommendations on what new pair I should get?

Last point! Hermes doesn't ship to my address - we've had an ongoing complaint with them for numerous years, and they just refuse to deliver to us at this point, so this limits the options a bit! Where can I order that won't use Hermes?

Any help would be hugely appreciated, and I appreciate your patience!

I have used the search option in the past, so I'm so glad that's a feature! And I love the Boohoo deal, but they use Hermes, so it won't get delivered unfortunately. Thank you though, Tom 🙂

My husband buys samsung earbuds from Amazon for about £2.99 each and they are absolutely brilliant. I can't help with the smart watch as I've never had one.

You could look on fb marketplace or gumtree for gym wear, it will probably be much cheaper, although you will have to collect, but it can be done at a social distance.

I think if u get a leggings half price from Adidas or Reebok and search for an extra online voucher which is current 30% in those stores and maybe u can also get student discount too. You will have a better gear than getting the one from Primark,...

Also it is worth to check Amazon, because sometimes they have Puma tops for 2.99 etc and last pair of shoes always go to like 70% sale...

Reebok are doing a huge sale on at the moment with 50% off stuff and their gym wear is pretty decent

I would look at SHEIN, its great for smaller prices and they have some lovely workout sets, leggings, tops, earphones, and I actually think they had smart watches on there at one point! Or your local TK Maxx? Hope this helps! 😁
