Least Money Saving Thing You've Ever Done?

Ask a Question

What's the LEAST money saving thing you've ever done?

Mine would be a tie between having a child and buying a house because they both cost me a fortune lol.

Buying house and having a £10k wedding 20 years ago. Still worth it though. Oh and learning to drive with loads of lessons then buying car at £8k joint with husband.

For my 40th Birthday I blow a ten year endowment policy in a week, £2k, I went to Ragdale Hall, Health Farm, by myself for a week, it was heaven. Had lots of lovely treatments, first and last time I booked what I liked without looking at the prices. I was pregant for my 30th, so took it out so I could enjoy my 40th😀

I don't really see anything we do as least money saving. We set a budget for our wedding and actually came in under it and had the most beautiful day. We made overpayments on our mortgage and it helped when buying our new house.

I think the least money saving thing we have the interest on the mortgage! For me interest on anything, like a mortgage, car payment etc is the least money saving thing we do.

Apart from having kids, taking them all to Disney land in Florida for 3 weeks, I was sick most of the holiday lol
