LEVEL - British Airways new discount airline (and the catch)
Deals
Have you seen British Airways has a new airline called LEVEL? (Sources: Independent, Telegraph).
Branded as a long-haul, discount airline, tickets are available to Los Angeles for just £99 (one way).
But there's a catch:
LEVEL only flies from Barcelona, Spain. Starting June 2017, the airline is launching flights from Barcelona to the following airports:
- Buenos Aires
- Los Angeles
- Oakland
- Punta Cana
Fares start at £99 one way, but you'll need to get yourself to Barcelona first. This costs about £40 - £50 on average (Source: KAYAK) but you can usually get some good travel deals.
LEVEL is launching with two planes, both the Airbus A330.
Hopefully this all means there'll be more and more cheaper flights to North and South America! But would you be willing to fly to Barcelona first to get the cheap deals?
