Lived Your Life to the Fullest before or after You Turned 30?

Ask a Question

Would you say that you lived your best or enjoyed it the most life before or after you turned 30?

Both of my parents say after they have turned 30. I have no idea as I am not yet near being 30 so I wouldn't know.

How about you?

I enjoyed my 20s, but for me, life really began when I turned 30. It does depend on what you’ve achieved and what your life situation is, but I've always believed you only get better with age. The only sad thing is having to deal with losses

Well, I haven't reached the age of 30 yet so I guess I am currently unqualified to answer.

But I have been enjoying my life so far. 🙂

I have the benefit of hindsight as I am old. I have definitely enjoyed my life more since turning 30. I had my son's at 20 and 22 so they were practically offhand by my mid thirties. I began a 26 year career at age 32, have enjoyed the benefits of the stable wage and pension from that and am still active and getting around more than when I was young. I have interests, hobbies and security and, I might add, did it alone when hubby left for a 21 year old when I was 33.

I have had a brilliant time with grandchildren as for the first two I was the age of some women just starting to have their own kids. In fact granddaughter says I have always been like a second mum not a grandma, she is 25.

Letgetfreestuff thank you, I am content but realise many people have done and seen more and I often wish I could have contributed more to society but hey, often life gets in the way. A good life is doing the best you can and if you can work, rest and play and not always be chasing more you will find contentment.

I also think I am enjoying life more now I'm well over 30.

Not least because I have more money now so I get to travel more and buy things I want.
