Lockdown Rules...
Other
I feel as though I am quite unsure of the lockdown rules as of present... There was so much more coverage on the news and everywhere letting you know and now it feel's like there isn't too much updates.... does anybody feel the same?
No-one around here has been taking a blind bit of notice anyway, so it doesn't really matter what comes out in the news because they'll just ignore it anyway.
I think, like most news - it's old news now and people are just trying to get on with their lives - probably putting others at risk whilst they do so, but what is the alternative? Living as I do by not going out and still having home delivery shopping! Most people wouldn't like that so they just try and carry on. When you hear the same, or similar, news all the time your brain tends to blank it out. Unfortunately I think it is likely that we will all be bitten on the bum by it again - that's when people will take notice again...
Its quite simple ...do whats best for you and keeps you/others round you as safe as possible whilst trying to lead as normal a life as possible ...don't let those that ignore advice and common sense dictate your own life and how you live it.
dndspurs Is there a normal anymore?
The problem is around here that basically NO-ONE listens to advice and sticks to the rules. It's been like it from the start. And they certainly don't have any common sense.
If there is going to be any infections in our area, Covid will spread like wildfire.
And as for people moaning about having to self isolate after coming back from Portugal/Greece, the answer is simple...
DON'T GO TO ******* PORTUGAL/GREECE.
My neighbours went to Spain ignored the quarantine and got caught by the police. Nobody is paying attention around where I live because the numbers are low the basic mentality is we're immune, it's so frustrating!
There is no lockdown pretty much. It's all down to keeping hands clean, wear a mask and social distance. Life goes on now with pretty much everything opened up.
