Armed Forces Arriving in London?
Ask a Question
Armed forces are arriving in London.
Is it just a lock down or proper cerfew?
All in sudden so much fear in air.
I did read a few days ago that troops might be drafted in but only to protect the supermarkets, they're not going to shoot people just for absconding from "house arrest" YET
(House arrest is what a friend who lives in Spain calls it - I wonder if it will catch on here?)
I just asked a question and you can see evidence all over the Internet now. I have no idea why you get offended? Dennab
abuibrahim I'm not offended but when someone comes on and says phrases like 'armed forces are arriving in London' and 'all in sudden so much fear in air', firstly that second one doesn't even make grammatical sense. Secondly, it's not a question. It's an assumption. More importantly, it simply makes even more people worry. Leave the reporting to professionals. As I said, you're scaremongering so stop it. Cheers.
To be fair I wouldn't mind having the army around to ensure people don't behave like nuts and also protect food shops
It is a matter of time. They employed 10.000 more and also more police staff.
I am not sure why we need to wait. What are we waiting for? mutating?
I wouldnt be shocked if they were as the public will force them to with not following guidelines and actually having social distance.
The armed forces have been helping to transport the gas cylinders for the ventilators needed so they will be more visible over the next few weeks. People seem to forget that when there is a crisis they are utilized to get the job done efficiently. (strikes, floods and a whole lot more) Personally, I'd welcome their presence.
