What do you think of this?

Not sure how it works but it could be based on getting money from the affiliate process so if they move you to a new energy supplier etc they get the affiliate money. As ever better to use something like quidco or topcashback to get that money yourself. Unless they actually charge people a fee for their services directly. As ever they will need to be paid for their services and you basically pay that even if it is hidden to you.

As for as I know they get commission if they recommend you change to a different supplier, then the supplier gives them the commission.

eyeballkerry So pretty much as I thought they get the affiliate income which you yourself could get if you went through topcashback, quidco etc. So its costing you money. I went to scottish power a while back and received £90 cashback. The scottish power tariff was one of the best for me as I'm a low user of power but if I was a customer of 'look after my bills' that £90 or possibly more would be their income so I would of been £90 out of pocket. If you do the same for telecoms/broadband, car insurance or whatever else they organise for you it could cost you hundreds per year.

BonzoBanana I understand what you are saying but they are doing a service for you. Many people can not be bothered or have the time or the know how to search.
