Only a few weeks ago I used a recipe for salmon which definitely included balsamic vinegar .... and, I think, light soy sauce tho am not sure on that one. I've ploughed thro all my emails as I'm sure I found it by clicking through one of them -but no luck... and neither do searches find it! Has anyone a good recipe for a marinade/sauce for salmon with balsamic in it please? It's driving me crazy trying to think and experimenting hasn't been over successful!!! 
When I use balsamic as a dressing I usually just mix it with honey & garlic. Never think to add soy. I prefer maple syrup over honey but we don't always have that in.
Thanks for replying .... I found quite a few recipes but it was the soy that was missing ....
BORDERJOE Do you remember if you pan fried it or did you have to make a glaze and roast it? I've definitely used a Balsamic glazed recipe that is roasted. I'll leave it here - if the ingredients look familiar I will add the link.
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
sunny101 terrific! I really don't remember that site but it does look like 'my missing recipe! I really really do appreciate it! Thanks ... am now off to store in 2 different places!!!!! I like the original recipe source too .... slow cooker roast beef in balsamic...so...2 recipes for me!
sunny101 Wow, thanks. I'm always looking for new salmon and chicken recipes that are quick and easy 
It's definitely quick and easy and really tasty too ... I do everything in a rush so for me it's this type of recipe ... or the trusty slow cooker!
