Loyalty Cards
Ask a Question
How many loyalty cards (if any) do you own?
Which is your favourite/most used loyalty reward card and which is the least? And do you want to join any others?
I have one for Sainsbury's, Tesco's, Boots, Matalan, Morrisons and Superdrugs
Sainsbury's Nectar card and the Tesco clubcard are most used for me and the least is the Matalan card.
How about you
I've just got a Tesco Clubcard.
I use the points to either buy a Delivery Saver (triple value) or put them towards my mobile phone bill (double value)
I have a Superdrug card which I used to use regularly, but then my local Superdrug closed down so I shop elsewhere for my toiletries and stuff these days, and don't really use the card now. I used to have a Boots one but haven't used it in years.
Nectar, Tesco, Morrisons, Matalan, Superdrug, Boots, Ikea, Costa, Cafe Nero, Co op, Debenhams Beauty Club, The Body Shop, M&S Sparks, The Works, Iceland, Hobbycraft, Beefeater, B&Q.........and a few others.
This was a bit of an eyeopener (that I had so many ) but they all have their merits and are used regularly. Boots has the best reward ratio and the Tesco Clubcard prices are really helpful.
This reminds me of my mum, if a shop has a card or loyalty scheme, she's got it! She has so many, but they do get used so it's probably worth it.
I have Boots, Superdrug, Matalan, Debenhams beauty card, Holland and Barrett. My mum has a Sainsbury card. My favorite and best ones are Boots, Sainsburys and Debenhams for freebies.
I'm the same...if there's a card going, I'll get it...so I can enter comps and earn points ...why not!? Does mean a bigger card wallet tho!
Sainsburys used to good until they changed the rules and made it harder to earn more. Superdrugs is quite good
Tesco, boots & Superdrug are my most used. I also use Nector, The Body Shop & Costa fairly often.
Since covid Morrisons & Tesco are the loyalty cards I use the most. Before that Nectar might have been the one but not now as I can't always get deliveries from Sainsburys.
Excuse me if you know this. I have the nectar app on my phone and with the wonders of modern tech it is all connected to my account and card. Every week I get personal offers on things I buy regularly and get loads of extra points sometimes over 220 plus the points for the whole shop. They also sometimes invite me to rub the screen and I get a few bonus points. I am earning 2 or 3 times what I used to get.
Lynibis I do appreciate the info but two things stop me using Sainsburys - the lack of delivery slots (as I haven't been to a shop since March) ; I do get emails with the extra points but without a delivery slot, much to my chagrin, I can't take advantage of them. My phone is another matter entirely as it isn't connected to the internet (Yes, I know, I live in the dark ages) but that could be a good thing with all these covid (& other) bugs around that stay on your phone until you pick it up again. Phones/Swipe screens are breeding grounds for bugs.
tumblespots ah bless you, I totally understand. I am lucky in that I can get a slot whenever I want one where I live, in fact a delivery today and they have just updated on my app and I got 617 points on a £57 shop!
I also have no problem with my phone as I am the only one who ever touches it lol.
Lynibis it's also good to connect your eBay account with your nectar card if you use eBay you will gain nectar points whenever you shop at eBay
Nadiaparveen yes I believe there are lots of nectar partners but I haven't got to grips with them yet, and to be honest I rarely buy anything other than groceries these days. I think I have everything I need to see me out lol!
I have morrisons, tesco, nectar, the works, boots, Iceland did have subway but didn't use enough don't really use them much
Too many lol. I have a boots advantage card, morrisons more card, tesco clubcard, sainsbury's nector card. I have a superdrug bodyshop, costa, tk maxx card, waitrose, john lewis, debenhams, subway, ikea, boux avenue , holland and barret, the works and also have a sparks card
Tesco, Boots, Morrisons, nectar and Superdrug. I don't use my Superdrug one often as it's on my phone and I always forget about it, I don't go to Boots often either. I use my Tesco and Morrisons ones alot and I'm on nectar canvass so I get a lot of points that way which helps to pay for shopping, clothes etc
I have got plenty of them, but with not going out I am not using any of them apart from Tesco Clubcard as thats the only place I am shopping at the moment. I used to use my Boots card and M&S Sparks card quite a bit along with my Subway Card - but working from home now so dont need it
I have only recently signed up for sparks card which I now use weekly on our top up shop, and I use my club card at Tesco for our main shop. I have a boots and Superdrug card but mainly use the boots one. And quite a few others like Morrison’s more card and nectar, bp, go outdoors, and probably more haha!
I have so many now I leave them at home as far too many to carry around. As well the supermarkets I have garden centres, coffee shops, the list goes on.
eyeballkerry bless you .. I think we need a small card box to carry all our loyalty cards inside
I have loyalty cards for all the supermarkets, Boots, Holland and Barrett, M&S, Costa, the hairdressers and beauticians
No wonder my husband complains that my bag is heavy!
All the supermarkets that do them,Boots, Superdrug Holland and Barrett,The Works, ....get the most money or goods back from Boots really and Holland and Barrett but then their prices are higher to begin with....
