I subscribe to Golf and computer magazines and always look forward to when they drop through the letterbox .

OK you can find all the info on line but there is something nice about having a physical magazine to peruse at your leisure . Rather like having a physical book .

I download library books to my Kindle and have done the same with magazines in the past but it's not the same. I don't subscribe now as I realised i was wasting a fortune and not having time to read them.

Like you I used to buy loads when I was younger, but these days I only buy a few here and there. I think it's partly because you can access so much online these days, and partly because I have different hobbies and interests now. Also, some of the magazines I used to love don't exist anymore- like Smash Hits, that was one of my favourites.

I feel like a lot of magazines won't exist in a few years, unless they go digital.

I haven’t been to a supermarket since this pandemic started. I would occasionally buy a magazine if they had freebies like makeup or seeds. Now I flick through them online via our library site.

I bought a magazine today, it was the first time in ages but it was a bargain. Dare magazine costs only £3 and It came with 3 good size freebies and a full size revolution primer. I used to buy magazines more regular but my favourite glamour magazine has been discontinued and my other favourite soul and spirit magazine has gone down hill in quality

laraquinn It is a shame glamour magazine went online. Have you joined the glamour beauty club online? They sometimes send out samples for people to try. They sent me an email a couple of days ago saying I had been selected to test a £40 fenti mascara but when I clicked on it all the samples had already been claimed. Very annoying. But I did receive a Marc Jacobs perfume sample this year from them so it is worth while joining

I never have time for magazine. If I get chance I'd pick up a book

Some magazines have too many adverts

Fashion magazines in particular are mostly just adverts,I guess that's how they earn most of their money.
