What Makes You Feel Old More

Does you reaching landmark age or your kids make you feel old more? For me its my kids my eldest is 18 next year and that makes me feel older thsn when i reached 40 couple of years ago
Well I can only imagine how you will feel when you have a grandchild of 26 lol!
I feel like Methuselah at times and cannot equate her to the little girl who was my shadow.
I never thought about my age as I was third generation until I was 50 and Nana was still with us (she died aged 96) now I'm the eldest of all my family! Though I do tease my Partner about being a great Grandad at 63.
Spending time with the younger generations of my family and listening to how children of today live, or don't live due to social media. And always saying 'back in my day...'

I’m not old by any means, but I’m at an age now where I see people I remember being born or very very young and they are suddenly 18
We have a very fit and healthy 90 year old living in our close and she looks after the elderly, taking takeaways as a treat.
I suppose the question should be what age is old. Ive known people younger than me I'd class as old and people older I'd class as young
I'm 30 this year, so not old at all, but I know a lot of people seem to freak out about turning 30. Im not bothered by it all. I am more amazed that my son will be 2, which doesn't make me feel old, but makes me wonder how it has gone so fast!
What makes me feel old is looking back on photos of the past. It remind me of what I looked like and all the memories flood back and I just think man! time has passed!!!
I've just seen there are going to be 20th anniversary screenings of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone happening around the country soon. The first film was originally released in November 2001 and the three main stars are now in their thirties. Where did that time go?
My eldest is in the last year of college, that makes me feel old. The thought of her going off to university fills me with dread!

I think you realise how old you are getting when you find you are going to more funerals than weddings & christenings.

Its not so much about age but how my body feels that makes me feel old. Arthritis has kicked in early. My children are all grown up and the oldest will be 30 in December. When i say that to people they don’t believe me so I take that as a compliment.

I don’t generally feel old (I’m 40) but when we took our little girl to McDonald’s for the first time I felt very out of touch.
We haven’t been for years and so we didn’t know how the new ordering system worked with all the screens and so just queued up with all the OAPs to get served by an actual person
A few years ago I got on a quite crowded bus, there was a very attractive woman seated near the front who smiled at me, we exchanged smiles, and I thought my luck was really in... then she stood up and offered me her seat.
