Making Lockdown Birthday Special

Ask a Question

My partner‘s birthday is on Sunday and I usually have lots of surprises planned to make the day special, but this year its definitely more difficult because I can’t invite all his friends and family to do anything and we can’t go anywhere.. i’ve bought a banner to put up in the house and I’m making a cake today while he is at work, he’s decided he wants take away too.. but is there any other last minute ideas to make it special?

There's a number of things i can think of

-Have a cute at-home movie night with snacks and drinks

-go outside and watch the sunset

-give him a massage

- hold a zoom call with all his friends and family, you can have a fun theme

-visit a place that is meaningful to him (for example where you guys met)

-make him a bath with candles ,salt or a bathbomb (if you have a bath)

- Create a book with coupons in it for things you will have to do for him if he redeems them

- Set up a picnic at the park, beach, or even in your own living room. Bring candles, good food and don't forget about some champagne glasses for toasting.

  • You could watch his favourite film
  • Make him breakfast in bed
  • Run him a bath and put nice bubble bath in it 🙂
