Mayonaisse with Chocolate Orange
In the News
Heinz have made a Christmas special combining a little of Terry's chocolate orange with their traditional mayonaisse.I enjoy both but together! Why am I reminded of the lady in the vicar of Dibley who concocted the weirdest recipes
?Who fancies this on their Turkey this year?
I shared a competition to win one of these earlier today It's not something I would like, I like Terry's Chocolate Orange but don't want any mayo with it.
Not keen on mayo, not keen on chocolate so this is quite a hard pass for me. The wife on the other hand who likes mayo and likes choc orange still (not shocked) scrunched her face up in horror. I guess I won't be getting some then
Ive got to have some! Im a real sucker for trying new foods especially when they sound so wrong!
That combination sounds absolutely disgusting. Another novelty flavour these companies waste their money launching. Then never seen again on the shelves.
This sounds disgusting, but I suppose it tastes like chocolate spread, not something I would buy without tasting 1st, unless it was very cheap and I would get it as a gag gift similar to chocolate brussel sprouts
That title alone left me a bit grossed out.
Mayo with choc and orange? I mean, dipping French fries on milkshakes is a tad unusual, but this goes even further.
Still, I guess it tastes good as Heinz authorized it. I trust them and their ketchup is the best.
sounds horrid two completely different flavours, some sweet and savoury work but i would never have put these two together
I can't believe this is the best they can come up with. With all the flavours in the world and they come up with this.... Yuk!
I love a chocolate orange but I can't stand mayo, so I definitely won't be trying. My husband loves both and even he isn't keen to eat it.
Are we so desperate that we need a weird combination..it's the Christmas season. Why can't we have the traditional things with a twist. Rather than a total guess.x
They can afford to take chances obviously. Certainly wouldn't launch a company with that as a first sale.
They have form with things like this. A few years ago they released a Cadbury's Creme Egg Mayo. I don't think it was widely available though apart from a couple of events and giveaways. I imagine that will be the case again. Basically a clever publicity stunt. I'd give a try!
This sounds really weird . Not my cup of tea. My husband told me about it was he other day. I said thats so weird. We won't be trying it.
But I'm guessing some people would love it . Other wise they wouldn't make it.
