My daughter went with her family tonight and had to queue for more than half an hour with a baby and a 3 yr old ( who by the way was good as gold in the car ) I said rather you than me. My grandson scoffed the lot so I guess it was worth it considering he hasn’t been eating much with the heat the past week. A wee treat for him after being in lockdown for 10 weeks.

Ann1984 I’m with you on that one I would not queue for a mac but after 10 weeks in lock down my daughter thought it would be nice to give him a treat which he really enjoyed so I suppose it was worth it 😁

Nope, don't see how or why someone would want to queue for hours just to get a McDonald's, doesn't appeal at all to me. I can go without McDonald's for a bit longer!

If you have a backyard, grill and whatnot to make a burger then it'll be even better than a fast food restaurant burger. Plus, the smell of wood and meat burning is delicious!

I don't know about 'go without McD for a bit longer' for me I'd be happy to never have one ever again! 🐞

No way. But I understand those who may have done it for the kids. There was a time in my life when I was happy to see the Golden Arches

Lockdown has made me realise I can manage quite happily without McDonald's and tbh doubt I will ever go in one again. Once a week at home I have grilled burgers on my mini George Foreman and piled into a bun with tomato, cheese, mustard and ketchup.......delicious!

Massive queues stretching out on to the roundabout and queuing up the approach road to the roundabout at our local McDonald yesterday when I drove past. If people want to queue for their burgers that's their choice and I have no issues with that, however from a safety point of view I'm not sure how the police are allowing the queues to obstruct the roundabout and approach road.

We were talking about this at work and one person said they went at 2pm on a Saturday in Sheffield and no queuing! It may be that everyone else was in the KFC queue though 😜

Did I Queue at McDonalds? No. Would I Queue at McDonalds? No. I am happy to eat other, healthier foods that are more readily available at present

Me and the wife passed McDonald's yesterday and there was a sign in the window saying 'Free Big Mac'.

To be honest, we didn't even know he was in prison 😐

I'm not a McDonald's customer, but I wouldn't be willing to queue for more than 5 minutes at any other fast food shop 🍟

No way the only reason to have a McDonald's is so you don't have to cook the big queue is too much hastle. Can make better at home for less

Not a chance! But I guess if I had kids and they wanted one then I probably would. Each to their own.

However what I did notice was the rubbish strewn everywhere after the first day of opening! What a mess there was at my local retail park! Please everyone take your rubbish home with you if you can’t find a bin!! 😳

The queues are ridiculous as someone else has said the traffic will end up causing an accident as it means drivers are having to go on other side of road to just get past to other stores/supermarkets

jawsel14 Your thought process goes way further than 50% of people in those queues. They stop at "I want a burger".

Yes, well not really a queue. On way back from a day out OH said he was hungry. Only place I knew that would be open at 9.30pm. Only one car in front of us.
