Miele or Neff Kitchen Appliances

Ask a Question

We are looking at appliances and wondered if anyone has any views on which are better. We had a Miele vacuum cleaner and it lasted 15 years but haven't had any experience of their larger appliances.

In terms of reliability you should probably choose Miele.

In 2012 Which? the consumer group rated Miele the best for reliability in seven of nine categories for which it could be judged: upright vacuum cleaners; cylinder vacuum cleaners; washing machines; tumble driers; washer dryers; built-in oven; and fridge-freezers. In two other categories, it came equal third in fridges and fourth in dishwashers.

2012 is eight years ago of course, but I doubt much has changed.

14,770 Which? members filled in the online reliability survey about the kitchen appliances they own that were up to six years old. Miele excelled with its members

Bosch and Neff also had good results with two wins each.

Seems like I can't go wrong with either Miele or Neff. Miele is the more expensive one.
