Latest deals of course ive had a lot from there. Also imanaged to get my daughter an amazon fire tablet for £19.99 in july. Ive been xmas shopping since summer and have bought things when ive seen them as a good deal. I stock up on things when theyre on offer such as toilet roll, washing tablets. Im part of quite a few facebook groups where deals and bargains are shared. Im a bit of a bargain junkie if im hobest get a bit of a buzz from getting things cheap 🙂

joannecroston I'm the same. Definitely a deals addict! It's a good point about Amazon - I'd never buy their products at full price - they sell them cheap a couple of times a year.

I make sure to use my loyalty cards to build up the points and then use the vouchers to save money. I use nectar canvas for nectar points, which goes towards food shop. I only buy clothes and shoes in the sale and even then question how much I need it or how much I will wear it. If I get any holes in clothes and they can be fixed then I sow them up and get more wear out of them. Also buy things second hand and sell things that you no longer need to get some money back for them. I don't buy any branded products, always value or supermarket own. We switch electric and gas company each year and switch house and car insurance each year too. Meal planning so I only buy the food we need and nothing gets wasted. Yellow stickers, but only on items we will actually use/that can be frozen. Bulk buy items if you can as it works out cheaper. In the winter after cooking, leave the oven door open as it will help to heat the kitchen without having to put the heating on. Use half the amount of laundry detergent, when you can't squeeze anymore out of a packet (like toothpaste) cut the end off, you will be able to get more out of it, buy mens razors as they are cheaper and you can make them sharp again by running them over jeans so they last longer. If you are going out somewhere on a day trip, take food and a refillable water bottle with you so you don't have to buy lunch. Buying Christmas/birthday presents in the sales throughout the year. This one isn't guaranteed obviously, but I enter competitions and that saves me money as I haven't had to buy skincare/laundry detergent/make up for years and I have been able to use some of them as presents for people. Always check for a deal on anything that you are buying to save money. Do a family secret Santa at Christmas so it is cheaper or make Christmas presents. Switch appliances like the tv, microwave, laptops off at the wall and unplug them. Turn your thermostat down by a degrees, wear jumpers to save on the heating. Have movie nights at home, much cheaper than going to the cinema. Join groups where people post about deals/freebies. And of course the biggest one of all, only buy what you actually need!

If you search for money saving in the chat section, you will get lots of chats come up that have lots of advice.

I don’t buy magazines anymore I login to the library website and download them. Also stock up on wine when supermarket has 25% off and get it delivered because once the carry case broke lifting from the trolley to the boot.
