Mother of the Bride
Ask a Question
Can anyone recommend where I can buy my mother of bride outfit from. I am a young looking 50 year old so hats and typical two piece are definitely not me. Any advice or help.
I think Quiz do lovely dresses for weddings, they are reasonably priced and very modern... maybe a fascinator instead of a hat?
I got mine from one of the franchises in Debenhams. It was a dress and jacket and I wore a matching fascinator rather than a hat.
Both of our mums went to individual boutiques. They each wore a dress and jacket and a hat. My mil was 48 when we got married and looked fantastic.
You could look online at places like chi chi london.
Roman originals do some great clothes for weddings. Theyve got a sale on a the moment aswell. I bought a few dresses & jumpsuits last year from there when i had 3 different wedding to attend.
Depends on your budget really. Might be worth visiting a large department store where there are lots of different outlets. Some even have staff especially to help. There are lots of sales on at the moment so you might pick up a bargain. Try lots on and even buy a couple on the understanding that you can have a full refund, then try on in the comfort of your own home.
Im sure you’ll look stunning, enjoy the day.
