Mothers Day gifts.....
Ask a Question
So Mother’s Day is fast approaching and I’m beginning to think of what I should get this year...
I have seen a few good deals on this site for chocolate and candles and a funny cushion.
But has snyone else seen anything good or any unique bargains?
Would like to try and find something a little bit quirky can anyone help??
It really does depend on what your mum likes, my mum would not like chocolates or candles she would probably prefer an Amazon voucher.
I'm happy to get anything but would like a premium beauty product like the clinque set.
How about a day out somewhere as a family. Too much commercial nonsense nowadays rush us into buying tat and visiting for 10 minutes to drop a card of and a box of cheap chocolates. Real value will be taking time to go out either on the day or present to go later on.
have a look on local web sites for bookfolding art maybe someone in ur area does it
it's where they make names out of reading books and decorate them
When's Mother's day... Need something new this year... I've already done the usual things...
As an older mum who's own mum died many years ago I can say that I don't like my family wasting their hard earned money on fripperies for me. Things that are lovely but that I can live without. I would sooner have an Amazon voucher to keep my kindle loaded with books or a garden centre voucher. Afternoon tea with a friend is nice if they got an experience voucher but best of all I like them all to visit and maybe go out to lunch.
I get my mum a card and gift voucher for the cinema. I have gotten her this for years and she always appreciates it. I normally buy clothes vouchers for my mother in law. This year the 2 of them are a granny, so need to think of something special from the wee man.
That is something I love too, as I love watching films. If both mothers have a garden it would be lovely to get them a rose bush, tree sapling, fruit tree that blossoms etc so it can grow along with the baby. I have a magnolia tree in my garden named for my grandchild and he checks on it whenever he visits.
