New Bed
Money Saving
I currently have a superking bed, I need a new bed frame n mattress, any ideas best places to go? I have a metal bed frame but not keen on getting another metal frame, and ideas? Are wood frames better? Cant get a divan as it wont fit round the bend to get up stairs, also good place for mattresses and what's a fair/good price, thank you
I hope I don't sound stupid saying this but I have a double divan (just me) but it comes in two halves that are slotted together, so would that still not get up your stairs.
TBH the actual bedframe is more about what fits and whether it matches your bedroom . Then you don't really see a lot of it under the mattress and bed linen . It won't feel any different whatever is under a decent mattress .
I bought a new mattress 5 months ago and was astonished by some of the prices for a Kingsize . Obviously couldn't try one out in the middle of lockdown so opted for a memory foam hybrid one (springs at the bottom then various layers of foam and memory foam at the top ) .
Obviously looked at Simba, Eve , Nectar etc but was looking at around £1000 even with their 30% -40% discounts . Found Inofia https://www.inofia.co.uk/collections/hybrid-mattresses and they come out about one third the price for similar spec with 100 day trial .
Anyway bought one off Amazon (they carry most of the range ) and I can honestly say it's so comfortable I still look forward to going to bed 5 months on ! 100 day trial well over and there is no way they are having it back !!
Have a look at the cutaway diagrams and you can see why they offer the best of both worlds . Well chuffed with the one I got (paid about £220 in November though they have gone up a bit since then ).
amazing thank you for the reply - hopefully once lockdown is over soon we can go try out some thank syou
My brother found a bed and mattress on amazon for £168 and he loves it its a double wooden frame
I just bought a 4 inch memory foam topper for £75 super king of Amazon and really happy with what I bought.
