New Jacks Opening near Me
Ask a Question
There is a new Jacks opening near me.
Has anyone been and what do they sell please.
Do you think it’s worth going.
There isn't a store near me but it's easy to find out what they sell. To be honest the offers don't look that special but perhaps others will give a more accurate opinion.
Definitely worth supporting if you have one, they are overall very similar priced to Lidl and Aldi but with a larger percentage of goods coming from the UK or processed in the UK so you have both better animal welfare standards and it is positive for supporting farmers and jobs in the UK.
The level of debt the UK has built up is staggering and unfortunately it will hit a crunch soon and our living standards will drop hugely. It must be getting close to £100k of public sector debt for every single working age person in the UK now. The pandemic and resultant borrowing has sped up when this crunch will hit. No different to France, Spain and the US who are in a similar situation with absolutely horrific debt levels and negative assets.
Sadly no Jacks near me but from what I've seen they also only stock high turnover goods like Lidl and Aldi but what they sell is a better fit for me. Definitely worth trying. I have tried a few Jack's products though as One Stop convenience stores sometimes have 'Jack's' branded goods. I bought some Jacks branded cheddar cheese yesterday that was reduced (short life). Neither better or worse than cheddar cheese you get from other supermarkets. One Stop are Tesco owned even though they compete with Tesco Express stores.
I've never been to a Jacks before, we don't have any in my area, but I think it's always worth checking out a new shop, so you can see for yourself what they're like. We've got an Aldi opening on our high street soon, never had one round here before so I'll be going to have a look around when it opens.
