Not much of an update. I still have a OLED PSVita and when they bought out the cheaper version with a standard LCD screen (the reverse of what Nintendo have done) I couldn't see a lot of difference between them. I preferred my OLED display but it was only marginally better. I would have been equally happy with the LCD screen. It's got a bit more storage (64GB) on the new Switch and an ethernet port on the dock but its pretty minimal. I don't own a Switch anyway. My last Nintendo console was the wii U but the games I enjoy most are typically on PC or Playstation.

The thing with Nintendo its such weak hardware for such inflated prices. My cheapish laptop can emulate wii u games like Zelda at pretty much full speed.

Leannexxx Always makes sense not to be at the cutting edge but one step behind. We should now find ps4 games really cheap as ps5 takes over. A great time to buy a ps4 and cheap games for it etc. In contrast older systems start to have prices go up as rarity hits. Prices of 8bit and 16bit cartridges are increasing rapidly etc.

What makes it worse is a huge amount of Switch games are old games from older Nintendo systems yet prices are very high. This is why I pretty much opted out of the Nintendo eco system as such poor value. I bought a cheap android box for about £15 and can use happy chick to play a huge number of old console games on it.
