some people I know managed to get online but before they could place an order, they got the message from Next to say they couldn’t process any more orders for the day
I suspect the other retailers who had previously closed their online stores will begin to do this as well
I guess it makes sense doing it that way.
It makes sure their warehouse staff are social distancing, and brings some money through the door.
I suspect it’s also down to their stock levels also, as they’ve got head offices in China who have only lifted heavy lockdown recently. Tbh you really only see how reliant we are on other countries when these times of crisis occur
