Are We All Night Owls?

Ask a Question

There seems a lot of activity on here after midnight. Should you be asleep or can’t you get to sleep. Have you work tomorrow?

If I leave it late enough I can get to sleep but never more than 2 and a half hours before I'm wide awake again.

I don't live "by the clock" I hadn't even noticed it was 1.50 am until you mentioned it, even before I retired I usually didn't sleep until about 4.

I suppose very few, who aren't retired, will need to worry about work tomorrow (or should that be later today?) it's Saturday.

Not sure about very few. There are a lot of shops with a lot of staff, that are open weekends.

Naturally yes, I am. I would rather go to back at 1 or 2am than 10pm. I tend to be awake even when I do go to bed at 10pm for hours. I like it when it most of England goes to bed and finally there's some quiet. I feels like I have the planet more to myself.

I get that, i used to like feeding my kids late at night when they were newborns. It was just me and my baby and they were all sleepy and cute.

I like to chill out and watch TV in peace, sometimes i don't sit down until 10pm so usually i go to bed after midnight by that i mean i fall asleep on the couch and wake up at 2am but i tell myself i can watch at least 2 episodes of whatever i'm watching.

I could be a contender but my distraction tends to be a good book and not here. I've always been the same with something I'm interested in (craft, project, hobby) and have to either finish it or get to a point when the yawns take over.

I definitely am a night owl. Always had trouble sleeping...even at school. Except when my children were young.

Too right I'm a night owl, mind you I have mates who do Latest deals too so we all get together in our little houses and all post around the same time, when you cannot be with them, it kind of makes it fun when you can chat about this site with others.

My sleep varies, I usually go to sleep between 1 & 2, I'd prefer to go to sleep earlier but rarely happens. Sleep doesn't come easy for me. Last night was bad & didn't really fall asleep till gone 5. Luckily I didnt have a early start.

Must admit I've always been a bit of a night owl, prefer my late nights to early mornings, it's just so peaceful and quiet. My sleep pattern is all to pot at the moment, it's like a constant battle with me and my bed, I go to bed feeling really tired but still looking at the clock at 4 am. I hate it when my clock dictates my life to me and look forward to when I retire. 😀

I don’t sleep well so waste time on the internet browsing. My device is set to night mode to reduce the bright screen.

I'm very much a night owl 🦉 My children are home schooled, so I don't have to get up early and I love the peace and quiet when everyone has gone to sleep 😴
