Anyone hoping to go away for half term?
Fingers crossed, and so long as we don't get a lockdown, we're going to the New Forest. Looking forward to it.
we were hoping to but with everything going on ave decided to stay safe and stay home 
I would not plan for October, because scientific adviser says second lock down should be in October.
Our school half term is 2 weeks from 26th October and we're booked to go away from Monday 2nd November so fingers crossed x
The government has already said that another lockdown, if needed, will be during school half term.
Yes, but that's the problem ... different school have different half terms. My son's school has 2 weeks from 26th October, someone else I know's daughter only gets one week and it'll be the week commencing 19th October. So when they say lockdown would be "during school half term" ..... WHICH school?
I’m not planning to go away. I think we should all take care where we live to try to keep the virus in control. I’m sure the tourist hotspots need us to spend to keep afloat but please stay safe at home. Just treat yourselves to life’s little luxuries in your own city or town.
No , my partner will be working full time, we will be in avoiding the bonfire smoke and enjoying cosy evenings
I not even going to think about holiday until next year. Get through this year so we can enjoy next year
Our plan is to paint the garden fence. We don't go on holiday in October normally so won't be starting now, plus we are saving our money for other things so can't afford it.
I had hoped to but with uncertainty of hubby’s job and prospect of a second lockdown I think we’ll just be staying home 
I will not be going on holiday for at least the middle of next year. It is too unsafe and I don't want lockdown to occur when I am on holiday
If there is restrictions then they will be during October half term. Why not just wait until next year to go away?
