Do Any One Send Easter Cards
Ask a Question
I send easter cards to family and friends. I love doing it. And i get a lot of easter cards back.. I think it's nice to send a Easter card to your family and friends. It makes them happy and you are thinking about them. And it's nice to send Easter cards to people who are own there own. You send cards at Christmas time so why not Easter time. Do you send easter cards and do you get any.
No I don't send Easter cards. With Christmas, birthdays and ever increasing stamp prices I don't want to start buying cards for another holiday. Yesterday, I bought 2 birthday cards from Paperchase and together they cost over £5. When you include stamps I'll be paying close to £7 to send 2 cards. Given they will most likely end up in the recycling bin after a couple of days it just seems like a waste of money.
Sounds really nice nicolajaynehend I don’t send any myself, and I don’t receive them either. I do remember making them as a kid, or painting eggs, but I don’t celebrate Easter so it’s not a tradition I’ve kept up with x
nicolajaynehend I do think easter cards are nice, and I do think easter decor is sweet. And it’s always nicer to make things than Just buy them, as you add the personal touch x
hspexy I would nomarly make my own Easter cards. But i am lambing and not got the time. So I am buing them this year. But I've a lots of time to make my Christmas cards. This year's.
nicolajaynehend aw that sounds lovely. Lambs are so gorgeous, and must take up a lot of time. Sounds like you will have a fun packed easter
hspexy the 3 labs that were born they were still born. It was to do with the whether we been getting. I am not the only one to lose lambs. I've told them to hang on UNTILL better weather. Because we have snow coming.
nicolajaynehend sorry to hear that. I guess weather will impac5 the health of everything. Such a shame. Hope you get healthy lambs soon x
hspexy I hoping. But there is snow on the way. So fingers cross I hoping they will hang on.
No I don't send Easter cards, only birthday cards for close family members and a few Christmas cards. We don't really do anything for Easter, just enjoy the long weekend!
Hi gaelle0501 I think Easter is slowly dieing out. Which is a shame. When I was little shops were closed over Easter. Now they stay open. How time has change.
Sometimes it's less expensive to buy people an Easter egg than a high street Easter card. Go for the egg, I think I would appreciate it more.
Hi auntielettie yes it's nice to give a Easter egg. But you can't send it throw the post like a Easter card. The egg would break.
No I don’t send Easter cards but used to give the kids homemade ones to grandparents. None of my family bother with Easter cards so I’ve not got into the habit of sending them.
Hi pjran I think giving Easter cards is coming to a end now. Which is a shame. Shops would be full of easter cards but I am fining that it's Harder to get them. Now.
nicolajaynehend have you ever bought cards online? I’ve used Whistlefish many times. Usually a deal for buy 10 for about a tenner, they’ve beautiful cards with lovely envelopes not cheap white ones.
Pjran no I've not looked on line. I will have a look whislefish they sound like what I need. Thank you pjran for given me the name of the cards.
Yes I send Easter card to a few family members and friends especially those I see around the period.
https://whistlefish.com/collections/greeting-cards/occasion_easter The offer is 10 for £8, hope they have suitable cards for you.
Pjran I've just been looking at the cards. They are lovely and just what I need for Easter. And they got some lovely birthday cards has well. I've a few birthday coming up so will all so get some cards. Thank you ever so much for putting me on to them. I will stick with them. Once again thank you for your help.
You’re very welcome and I hope you like the cards once they arrive. I’ve not been disappointed with the quality.
I stopped sending them a few years ago which is rather sad. I honestly think that schools have influenced our habits - Easter cards are rarely made within the classroom as they used to be and even the Christmas cards are adjusted to Winter Greetings. Times change I suppose.
Hi angemski yes it's sad now school don't make Easter cards. I use to when I was at school make Easter and Christmas cards. Some where I've still got them. It's be coming a thing of the past which is a shame. Soon Easter and Christmas will be just a normal day. Oh how times have change.
